A new Q2E on space allowance for dairy cattle is available. The requestor was interested in finding our about current practices in EU Member States regarding housing of dairy cattle. The EURCAW team contacted national contact points in EU Member States to identify national legislation on space allowance for dairy cattle. Out of the 44 responses received, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland and Sweden had legal provisions on space requirement for dairy cattle husbandry.
