SUMMARY
Do you want to participate in our first Community of Practice discussion?
We are happy to announce that the Pilot programme with Policy Workers at Competent Authorities is now underway. At this point, we invite Policy Workers to register for the CoP (situated in the Services section of the website or https://www.eurcaw-ruminants-equines.eu/community-of-practice/). The link to register is available on this page. Once you have registered with your work email, a member of the EURCAW R&E team will review your registration.
Our first topic is on Stockperson to animal ratio: Does your Member State (MS) have regulations or guidelines on the stockperson to animal ratio in the ruminant or equine sectors?
EURCAW Ruminants & Equines announced the start of the Community of Practice (CoP) during the Competent Authority meeting two weeks ago. The CoP is a password-protected space on our website to exchange ideas on current and past activities of the EURCAW. We want the CoP to be time efficient and activities will normally be scheduled for 1 to 2 weeks, to give you time to contribute to the discussion, at a time that is convenient to you. The topic discussions will be facilitated by members of the EURCAW R&E team, using a light touch approach – starting the discussion and thereafter monitoring on a regular basis.
