EURCAW Ruminants & Equines has published two factsheets on lameness in dairy cattle. The thematic factsheet provides background on legislation related to lameness as well as common causative agents. The indicator factsheet provides recommendations for identifying lameness, namely lameness scoring. The factsheets are currently available in English and work is in progress to translate them into other European languages. These factsheets are available in a new Welfare Topic – Hoof Care.
