On 15 May, EURCAW Ruminant & Equines held a pilot training session on milk feeding in calves. Topics addressed included the frequency of milk meals, the amount of milk provided and the method of milk provision. There were 90 participants in attendance from multiple EU Member States. Discussions were facilitated through the Slido App. The audience participated by answering questions about current legislation, milk feeding in calves, and calf behaviour during the main presentation. Following the presentation, the audience had the opportunity to ask for clarification on any points in the presentation. Participants completed a short questionnaire at the end of the session to evaluate the training.
